In this class, you’ll tackle stranded colorwork while creating a festive Nordic-style Christmas stocking by Arnes & Carlos—perfect to knit up in time for the holidays! You’ll learn how to knit with more than one color in a row, including different ways to hold the yarn for stranded colorwork, how to read colorwork charts and symbols, and how to manage tension and “floats” for a smooth, professional finish.
Beginner’s Crochet - Wednesdays, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19 from 11 am - 12 noon
In this beginner-friendly class, students will learn the basics of crochet while making a simple scarf. With clear, easy-to-follow instructions, you’ll practice foundational stitches—including chain, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet—and complete your project in just a few sessions. Whether you’re brand new to crochet or looking to build confidence with a fun project, this class is a great way to expand your skills and create something beautiful by hand.
Skill Building KNIT: Magic Loop, Thursday, November 13, 6 pm - 7:30 pm
The Magic Loop technique allows you to knit small circumference projects (mittens, socks, tops of hats, sleeves) in the round using a single long cabled needle (32" or longer). No need for double point needles or two sets of cabled needles!
This class will focus on learning Magic Loop by making a swatch tube. We are not making anything specific in this class; we are just learning the technique.
Skill Building KNIT: Short Rows + Emotional Support Chicken- Saturdays, 11/15 & 11/22, 10 am - 12 noon

Knit the LENU Hood – a modern, seamless accessory that’s both stylish and cozy!
In this class, you’ll create the LENU Hood from the top down, starting with a textured seed stitch mid-section. Then, you’ll pick up stitches along the sides to shape the hood. Once you reach the chin, you’ll join in the round to knit the ribbed neck for a snug, comfortable fit. The hood is finished with a drawstring cord at the front opening for both function and flair.
