Garment Sizing for Knitters & Crocheters
This class is for both knitters and crocheters—because everyone deserves a perfect fit!
You put so much time, effort, and love into your handmade garments—don’t leave the fit to chance. In this workshop, you’ll learn:
What is ease?
How and where to measure to get the right fit
Reading a schematic
Measuring your swatch
Tips on making modifications
How yarn type and blocking effect garments
Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced - All are welcome!
Materials:
Sweater pattern of your choice
Knit or crochet a swatch as the pattern calls for and bring to class
Tape measure
A sweater or top from your closet that you love how it fits!
Optional: notebook to record your measurements
Class Length: 2 hours
Class price: $50
Class Schedule: Saturday, February 21, 12 noon - 2 pm
Class Size: 8 person max. Must have 2 registered for class to occur.

All classes must be paid in advance. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 48 hours before the start of class. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class start time, as well as missed classes, are not eligible for store credit. No exceptions.

Christine has been knitting for almost 20 years and crocheting for close to 30. While she makes all things ranging from socks to shawls to stuffed toys, her favorite thing to knit is a sweater. On the rare occasion she is not knitting, you can find Christine gardening, baking sourdough, running, or at Disney.
