Creative Mending with Jenny Santa Maria: Wednesday, September 16, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Discover the art of repair as a form of creative expression that extends the life of worn or damaged garments; skills that support a more sustainable way of living by keeping well-loved clothing in use and out of the landfill. We’ll cover stitches for hemming, reverse appliqué, and an introduction to darning; focusing on approachable techniques you can return to again and again.
Guided by Teaching Artist Jenny Santa Maria, this workshop treats needlework as both a useful life skill and a creative, empowering act of care. All materials included.
This is a relaxed Sip & Craft BYOB workshop—feel free to bring your favorite beverage and enjoy a creative, social evening while you stitch.
Class Size: 12 person max. Must have two registered for class to occur.

All classes must be paid in advance. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 3 days before the start of class. Cancellations made within 3 days of the class start time, as well as missed classes, are not eligible for store credit. No exceptions.
Jenny Santa Maria is a Monmouth County–based teaching artist and arts educator who leads engaging workshops in watercolor, embroidery, folk arts, pysanky, and more. Drawing on her background as a Special Education teacher, Jenny creates welcoming, hands-on experiences that inspire creativity and help participants discover that art is for everyone.
