Crochet Bobble Stitch Pumpkin Pillow

Get your home ready for fall with this cozy crochet pumpkin pillow! In this class, you'll create a beautiful 16" x 16" pillow cover featuring a textured pumpkin design that's perfect for adding a handmade touch to your autumn décor.

What You'll Learn:

  • How to crochet textured bobble stitches

  • How to create the Herringbone Half Double Crochet stitch

  • How to read and follow a crochet chart

  • Shaping techniques for the pumpkin design

  • Finishing and assembling a pillow cover

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner. Students should be comfortable with chain, single crochet, double crochet, and following a basic crochet pattern.

Class price: $65 + materials

Materials Needed:

  • Pattern: Bobble Pumpkin Pillow by The Knotted Nest

  • #5 bulky/chunky weight yarn (we recommend Berroco Vintage Chunky)

    • Background : 1 skein of your chunky choice

    • Orange/Ginger (pumpkin): 2 skeins

    • Back panel: approximately 2 skeins in the color of your choice

    • Sage Green (stem): approximately 50 yards (provided)

  • 6.0 mm (US J/10) crochet hook (or size needed to meet gauge)

  • Yarn needle for finishing

All yarn for class MUST be purchased in the shop. Discounts of 10% will be applied. Materials can be purchased at the shop prior to class.

Class Size: 6 person max. Must have two registered for class to occur.

All classes must be paid in advance. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 72 hours before the start of class to receive a full refund. Cancellations made 48–72 hours before the start of class are eligible for store credit only. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before class, as well as missed classes, are not eligible for a refund or store credit. No exceptions.

Instructors: Jackie Quatse

Jackie learned to knit and crochet as a child and has been honing her skills for over 30 years. With more than 4 years of experience working in the yarn shop, she offers both private and group classes. Jackie’s favorite projects are sweaters, and in her spare time, she enjoys painting with watercolors and pastels, baking at home, and staying active.
