Build confidence in reading and understanding knitting patterns so you can take on new projects with ease. In this class, we’ll break down how patterns are written and how to interpret them, from abbreviations to gauge, so you can approach your next project with clarity.
In this class, we’ll cover:
How to read and follow a knitting pattern
Understanding pattern structure and layout
Common knitting abbreviations and terms
What gauge means and why it matters
How to choose the right yarn for a pattern
We’ll review several example patterns together, and you’re encouraged to bring a pattern of your own to look at and discuss. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and build confidence for your next knitting project.
