Dive Into Color: Knit a Colorwork Christmas Stocking, Saturdays, 10/31, 11/21 & 12/5, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
Get festive while learning stranded colorwork in this fun, holiday-themed class! We’ll knit a Nordic-style stocking you can proudly hang for years to come.
In this series, you’ll learn:
Knit with more than one color in a row, including how to hold the yarn for stranded colorwork.
Read colorwork charts and symbols.
Tackle tension and manage “floats.”
Skill Level: Intermediate knitters who are comfortable with knit, purl, and working in the round.
Class Materials
Pattern: Holiday Doodle Stocking by Jamie Lomax (included)
Yarn:
DK weight yarn in three contrasting colors, approximately 150 yards of each color
We ask that all yarn for classes be purchased in the shop. 10% discount will be applied. Materials can be purchased at the shop prior to class.
Needles:
US 2/2.75 mm and US 4/3.5 mm, preferred needles for small circumference

Class Size: 6 person max. Must have 2 registered for class to occur.

All classes must be paid in advance. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 72 hours before the start of class to receive a full refund. Cancellations made 48–72 hours before the start of class are eligible for store credit only. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before class, as well as missed classes, are not eligible for a refund or store credit. No exceptions.

Christine has been knitting for almost 20 years and crocheting for close to 30. While she makes all things ranging from socks to shawls to stuffed toys, her favorite thing to knit is a sweater. On the rare occasion she is not knitting, you can find Christine gardening, baking sourdough, running, or at Disney.
