Build your knitting confidence with our Fixing Mistakes 1 class! This class is designed to equip you with practical skills to handle common knitting challenges and keep your projects on track.
In this session, you’ll learn how to:
Back-knit (tink)
Change purls into knits (and vice versa)
Read your knitting
Fix stitch count by finding holes (yarn overs)
Undo decreases
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate, Must be able to cast-on, knit, purl, bind-off
Materials:
Worsted weight yarn in a medium to light color (scrap yarn from home is fine)
Size US 7 or 8 needles
Crochet hook
Scrap yarn of different color
Homework:
With worsted weight yarn, Cast on 30 stitches using size US 7 or 8 needles. Work in garter stitch for 3-5 inches. Leave on needle and bring to class. For more practice, you may also do another piece in stockinette.

Class Size: 6 person max. Must have 2 registered for class to occur.

All classes must be paid in advance. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 48 hours before the start of class. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class start time, as well as missed classes, are not eligible for store credit. No exceptions.

Christine has been knitting for almost 20 years and crocheting for close to 30. While she makes all things ranging from socks to shawls to stuffed toys, her favorite thing to knit is a sweater. On the rare occasion she is not knitting, you can find Christine gardening, baking sourdough, running, or at Disney.
