Windowpane Crochet Scarf Class - Wednesdays, 7/9 & 7/16 from 11 am - 12 pm
The Windowpane is the perfect spring or fall scarf to keep the chill off your neck without being bulky. Designed to showcase the colorshifts in gradient yarns, semi-solid, or variegated yarns, this scarf can be worked in cotton or wool—maker’s choice!
Finished (but unblocked) dimensions: 67” long x 5-1/4” wide.
In this class, students will learn how to create the signature windowpane effect using columns of triple crochet and skipped stitches, forming a network of open spaces that keep the scarf light and airy. You’ll also learn tips for handling the natural slant of the stitch pattern and the importance of light blocking to achieve the final look.
