Boneyard Sweethearts Hat Class - Saturdays, September 20 & 27, 1 pm - 2:30 pm
Looking to build your skills and get into the spirit of the season? The Boneyard Sweethearts Hat is a fun and festive fall project featuring a ring of skeletons holding hands—with your choice of hearts or ghosts between them.
Bonus spooky twist: The skeletons glow in the dark thanks to a special yarn that adds a playful surprise when the lights go out!
This class is perfect for advanced beginners who are comfortable with basic knitting and ready to explore colorwork in a supportive setting. You’ll practice knitting in the round from the bottom up, reading charts, and working with two colors. The hat pattern includes adult sizes S (M, L).
In this class, you’ll learn how to:
• Knit in the round
• Read and follow a colorwork chart
• Work stranded colorwork using two colors
• Manage floats and tension for smooth, even stitching
Skill Level: Advanced beginner. Must know how to cast on, bind off, knit stitch, purl stitch, and knit in the round.
Class price: $65. All yarn must be purchased in the shop.

Sue has been a friendly and knowledgeable part of our shop community for the past 5 years, dating back to its days as Balzac Fibers. She especially loves knitting sweaters and brings patience and plenty of know-how to every class she teaches.
