Brioche knitting creates a reversible fabric with beautiful texture and a soft, squishy feel. In this class, you’ll learn two-color brioche, an approachable technique that creates bold stitches and striking color contrast. We’ll break everything down step by step so the process feels manageable and enjoyable.

In this class, you’ll learn how to:
• Read brioche pattern abbreviations
• Work brioche knit and brioche purl stitches
• Knit two-color brioche with confidence

A pattern will be provided upon class sign-up.

Skill Level: Intermediate: Must be able to cast-on, knit, purl, increase, decrease and knit in the round

Class Materials: 

  • Yarn: Two skeins of worsted or aran weight yarn in contrasting colors (approximately 400 yards total)

  • Needles: US 9

  • Stitch marker

    We ask that all yarn for classes be purchased in the shop. 10% discount will be applied. Materials can be purchased at the shop prior to class.

Class price: $60 + materials, includes pattern

All classes must be paid in advance. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 48 hours before the start of class. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class start time, as well as missed classes, are not eligible for store credit. No exceptions.

Class Size: 6 person max. Must have two registered for class to occur.

Christine is your instructor for this class.

Christine has been knitting for almost 20 years and crocheting for close to 30. While she makes all things ranging from socks to shawls to stuffed toys, her favorite thing to knit is a sweater. On the rare occasion she is not knitting, you can find Christine gardening, baking sourdough, running, or at Disney.
