Kid’s Beginner Knitting Class – Two-Day Series, Thursday, July 24 & Friday, July 25, 2 pm - 3 pm

Join us for an exciting beginner’s knitting class designed just for kids! In this two-day series, students will learn the foundational skills of knitting while working on a fun bookmark project they can take home. Students must be 10 years or older to participate.

During the class, students will explore:

• How to cast on

• The knit stitch

• Counting stitches

• How to bind off

Class price: $50, includes pattern

Class Schedule: Thursday, July 24 & Friday, July 25, 2 pm - 3 pm

Class Materials:
Needles: US size 8
Yarn: 1 skein worsted weight yarn

We ask that all yarn for classes be purchased in the shop. 10% discount will be applied. Materials can be purchased at the shop prior to class.

Your instructor, Barbara Gilchrist, has been part of our community for over five years and brings extensive teaching experience. Having grown up in her grandmother’s yarn shop, Barbara has been knitting since she was a little girl and has a true passion for the craft.
