Kids Beginner Crochet Class (10+) – 2 One-Hour Sessions Over 2 Days, Wednesday, July 30 & Thursday, July 31, from 2 -3 pm

This beginner-friendly crochet class is perfect for kids eager to learn the basics of crochet! Over two one-hour sessions, students will explore foundational crochet techniques and build confidence in their new skills. Kids must be 10+ to attend.

What You’ll Learn:

• How to make a slip knot

• Chain stitch

• Single crochet

By the end of the class, students will be well on their way to completing a colorful and creative project. Ideal for kids ages 10 and up!

Materials Needed:

Yarn: 1 skein of any worsted weight yarn

Hook: US I (9) 5.5mm

We ask that all yarn for classes be purchased in the shop. 10% discount will be applied. Materials can be purchased at the shop prior to class.

Jackie Quatse learned to knit and crochet as a child and has been honing her skills for over 30 years. With more than 4 years of experience working in the yarn shop, she offers both private and group classes. Jackie’s favorite projects are sweaters, and in her spare time, she enjoys painting with watercolors and pastels, baking at home, and staying active.
