Christmas in July: Seton Portage Fingerless Mitts - 2 session class, Tuesdays, July 15 and July 22 from 11 am - 12:30 pm

Get a jump start on your holiday projects and join us for Christmas in July! In this two-session class, you’ll knit the beautiful Seton Portage Mitts, inspired by the stunning mountain village of Seton Portage in British Columbia.

This pattern artfully combines traditional stitching with brioche to create a textured design that evokes the gentle snowfall in a pine forest. With both written directions and a chart, it’s accessible and rewarding for knitters ready to try new techniques.

In this class, you’ll learn:
✨ Brioche in the round
✨ Combining classic and brioche stitches for a rich, dimensional fabric
✨ How to follow written and charted instructions
✨ Shaping techniques for fingerless mittens

Perfect for gifts or keeping your own hands cozy, these mitts are a great way to get ahead on holiday crafting.

Skill Level: Advanced beginner. Must know how to long-tail cast on, bind off, knit stitch, purl stitch, and be comfortable knitting on dpns.

Class price: $65 + materials
