Class length: 2.5 hours

Unlock a new level of knitting with learning how to read charted patterns! The Laulu Shawl is the perfect small project to dip your toes into charted cables and lace.  In the class you’ll learn how to: 

  • Read a knitting chart.

  • Understand chart symbols.

  • Optional: cable without a cable needle.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner or Intermediate (must know how to cast on, bind off, knit, purl, increase, decrease)

Materials:

Yarn: 250 yards of DK weight yarn OR; 250 yards of fingering weight yarn and 250 yards lace weight yarn
Please note all yarn must be purchased in the shop. We give 10% off all supplies purchased for class.

Needles: US 6 circular needles, 24” or 32” cable length

Class Size: 6 person max. Must have 2 registered for class to occur.

Class price: $60 + materials

Christine has been knitting for almost 20 years and crocheting for close to 30. While she makes all things ranging from socks to shawls to stuffed toys, her favorite thing to knit is a sweater. On the rare occasion she is not knitting, you can find Christine gardening, baking sourdough, running, or at Disney.
