Beginner Knit: Fundamentals (Evenings) - Wednesdays, June 11, 18, & 25, 6 pm - 7 pm
Join us for an exciting 3-part beginner’s class where you’ll master the fundamentals of knitting! Whether you're brand new or need a refresher, this class will give you the confidence to get started. By the end of the series, you’ll complete a sweet cotton facecloth—perfect for summer gifting or daily use.
What You’ll Learn:
Casting on, the knit and purl stitches, how to combine stitches to create texture and pattern, and how to bind off your work.
Skill Level: Beginner - no experience necessary!
Materials Needed:
Pattern: Washcloth with Garter Stitch Edge (pattern supplied)
Yarn: 1 skein cotton yarn (recommended: Plymouth Fantasy, Cascade Splash, Noble Cotton, or Universal Cotton)
Needles: US 7 (5.0 mm) 24” circular needles
Notions: Tapestry/darning needle (available at The Creative Knot)
Class price: $65, includes pattern
Class Schedule: 3-part class. Each session is 60 minutes. You must be able to attend all classes as there will be no make up classes.
We ask that all yarn for classes be purchased in the shop. 10% discount will be applied. Materials can be purchased at the shop prior to class.
